Men's belts are no longer just a way to get some extra security if your trousers are a little loose fitting, but are a fashion statement in their own right. From neutral leather belts to stylish options with added embellishments and bold belt buckles, there's an enormous range of choice when it comes to buying a new belt.
The location of the serial number depends on the product. For example, serial numbers are engraved on the back of Gucci watches, while handbags feature a small leather tag stitched inside the cavity of the purse, with model and serial number information stamped in the material.
Most of the time it will depend on the occasion you're wearing your belt for as to which style is going to be most appropriate, but whatever the outfit you can generally use your belt to inject some added style and individuality. Be sure to have your correct measurements to hand as belts should only have enough extra length to pass through one or perhaps two belt buckles, too much excess material is not a good look.
How to Choose Men's Belts
When it comes to choosing the perfect belt, a good place to start is with the belt buckle, as these will tend to define how formal or otherwise the belt is. The larger the buckle the less formal it is, and some brands are known for their quirky and embellished belt buckles - Gucci and Louis Vuitton are good examples of this.
Leather is the most popular choice of material for belts, although more refined materials such as snakeskin or crocodile skin are also in demand. Generally brown or black leather are safe options, and for the most stylish appearance try to ensure the colour of the belt leather matches the colour of your footwear.
To ensure that you're buying good quality leather be on the lookout for any cracks or discolouration which could indicate damage. It's also worth checking the stitching closely as the tighter and closer together it is the better the belt has been made in most instances. Chances are you'll be wearing your belt frequently so it's worth making sure that you invest in one that is well made and designed with quality materials.

How to check Gucci wallet's authenticity?
Gucci Serial Numbers
Hi, my aunt bought a gucci wallet for me lately from Europe's outlet store. It looks and feels real. There's a barcode number at the left side behind the card slots, and it has the word gucci and made in italy at the right bottom corner of the wallet. However, there's an extra 'circle G' sign at the side which other wallets that i saw from the gucci website doesn't have. And the box doesn't have any sticker with the barcode number. Can anyone advise me? I thank you in advance! Btw, this is a link that i found on ebay. It's the exact same one that i got. http://cgi.ebay.com.sg/NEW-AUTHENTIC...-/330348840967
